A small tree reaching up to 3-4m in height. Flowers all year round with white-pink-purple colors. Young leaf flushes are remarkably glossy red.

Bignay is a tropical fruiting shrub or small tree. The colorful fruit grows in showy grape-like clusters and has a sweet, tart flavor similar to cranberry.

Ilang-Ilang

This tree is known for the incredible fragrance that comes from its blossoms. Its scent has hints of jasmine crossed with a sweet custard apple, and fills the entire landscape.

Yakal is harder and heavier than apitong or tangile. It is yellowish in color. It is heavy and has a fine texture and it lasts long even when kept in the open under bad weather.
